WHO IS AC FOOTBALL ACADEMY
Alex Cobo is the inspiration behind the AC Football Academy. He first established his football program in 2010 with the intention of providing an alternative option for players keen on pursuing a professional football career. Alex has progressed into an elite level coach stemming from his extensive experience as a football player in South America and Australia. He currently manages a team of 12 coaching staff and is responsible for the effective operation of the AC Football Academy.
The success of AC Football Academy relies strongly on the cohesion between our experienced coaches, administrative staff, and the enormous potential of our multi-national players. Our goal is to nurture individual football talent and support these players in achieving international success.
INTERNATIONAL
TRAINING
Alex played at Boca Juniors Cali under the guidance of many international coaches such as Ramiro Viafara (Former Colombian National Team Coach) and Carlos “La Gambeta” Estrada for seven years. This training was invaluable because it taught Alex an exquisite technical foundation that is at the edge when competing at the highest level.
He studied at The National School of Sports for 4 years, one of the most prestigious sport universities in South America. This has provided Alex with great insight into all sciences applied to football as well as player development, international football standards and elite sporting requirements.
Alex holds an A Licence coaching accreditation through Football Federation Australia (FFA) since 2016. This allows him to coach at any NPL level within Australia.
