The Excellence Program is AC Football Academy’s advanced development pathway for players who demonstrate strong technical ability, a high level of commitment and a genuine desire to push their football further. This program is designed for players who are ready for a more demanding training environment — one that places greater emphasis on performance habits, accountability, game understanding, intensity and long-term progression. It is a program for players who want to be challenged beyond the standard academy setting and who are prepared to embrace the discipline and consistency that higher-level development requires. The Excellence Program is not only about ability. It is also about mindset. We look for players who are willing to train with intent, arrive ready to work, respond to setbacks, handle pressure and take ownership of their development on and off the pitch.

The Excellence Program goes beyond general development. Players are expected to train with intent, compete consistently and take ownership of their progress — because this is an environment built around the demands of advanced football.
Sessions place a strong emphasis on advanced technical execution under pressure, quicker decision-making in tight spaces, tactical and positional awareness, speed of play and the physical and mental habits required to perform at a higher level.
Every player receives close coaching guidance and detailed feedback throughout. We want players to understand that talent alone is never enough — long-term development is built on consistency, discipline and the willingness to improve every single day.
