Duration of the program
There is not a specific length of the program as players will define that according to their work and performance, however, we will aim for five weeks initially, so everyone can have a taste of it and decide after that if they would like to continue or not.
Training component
The Online program consists of a series of progressive challenges and exercises organised in blocks (Block 1 – Block 10).
Each block has four different challenges in different areas:
We understand and respect player’s individuality, therefore there is not a specific time for a player to complete a block, so they can work at their own pace.
Technique
Development of the four core skills. (first touch, running with the ball, striking of the ball and 1v1 skills).
Ball Mastery
Development of the relation between the player & ball.
Football specific actions
Development of common actions required in football.
Mobility and physical development
Development of bilateral coordination and physical capacities; speed, endurance and strength (football related).
Have in mind
1. Players can progress from one block to another after successfully completing 3 out of the 4 challenges in the previous one.
2. Players should record themselves performing each challenge and send a video to their respective coach for feedback and approval.
